  • Home Theater Seating Sales Soar in a Down Economy

    8802-Brown-7PC

It comes as no surprise that entertainment is costly to American consumers.  Amusement parks, live theater, restaurant dining, concerts, bars and nightlife, foreign and domestic travel – activities that have become some of this country’s favorite pastimes are luxuries that cost a pretty penny.  Relaxation and enjoyment outside the home has become a burden for many households’ finances in the wake of the recent economic recession, so many are turning to the only logical thing left to do for entertainment – staying home.

21st century home entertainment is undoubtedly centered on electronics and media.  From the internet to music CDs and MP3s; computer and console gaming to films on DVD, a wealth of home-based entertainment options is already at the fingertips of most Americans.  Because of the increased amount of time we are spending indoors, this is also where our entertainment dollars are going.  Consumers are taking to the idea of creating their own entertainment havens in larger numbers than ever before.

$10-$25 for a DVD that can be enjoyed time and again is a much better budgetary option for a family of 4-5 rather than a movie at a theater considering ticket prices can be in excess of $10 for a single showing at a major cinema.  Pitted against the high cost over time of even just one or two monthly visits to a public theater, staying home for a movie is the route to take.

Interior Express offers leather home theater seating at pricing that sits well with consumers who love to have a good time but are now trying to get more out of their hard-earned dollars.  Customers calling to purchase discount home theater seating often explain their plans to have parties in their homes for events such as movie nights, sports marathons, and even video gaming.  A growing trend is women who enjoy getting together with their friends to watch weekly episodes of Lost and Project Runway, among many others.  Men seem to be especially attracted to home theater seating with football season upon us and the Super Bowl quickly approaching.

More and more people find entertainment options at home, a sign that consumer habits are indeed changing in the wake of this recession.  If you are among the many budget-minded consumers looking to recreate a theater experience at home, see the affordable collection of Home Theater Seating at www.interiorexpress.com .

  • New Pictures Coming!

I've hired a photographer that is an expert in lighting to take about 40 new photos for our website. I've never been that happy with our pictures to begin with but every year or so I try and come up with a different way of taking pictures or hire a new photographer or buy new accessories.

We have gotten better over the years but most of the comments we get from customers are "your pictures look terrible, we were so surprised how nice the piece was when we got it." After hearing that a few times, I just start to feel embarrassed that we are doing a lousy job representing our own furniture line. After all, a large part of our business is selling online and what my partner and I always said is that we have to ship an incredible product at an incredible price or everyone is going to ship the product back to you if they think they got junk. So essentially what we have been doing is selling an awesome product with the best quality through lousy pictures and lousy descriptions. I'm going to fix that this year.

If you didn't know, and if we didn't explain it to you well before, there are not that many large manufacturers of furniture in the world. There are even less people that do new designs. The factories we buy from (we are a pretty decent sized business) also supply companies like Crate and Barrel and West Elm so we really piggy back on the great quality that they demand. We just follow along in their footsteps.

On a personal level, I'm hoping our Home Theater Seating pictures turn out great. We have what I feel is the best quality product but we haven't been able to really make that clear to you, our customers. I promise to make it better.

  • Home Theater Seating from Interior Express Boasts Quality and Affordability

Home theater seating is quickly emerging as a piece of furniture in high demand for the modern home.  No public theater can compete with the comfort of your own home, your carefully-built DVD collection, and a group of your closest friends.  A home theater room (or even your living room) paired with a new theater seating set need not be an extravagant expense any longer – take Interior Express’s new collection of home theater seats as a prime example.  Once considered a luxury item, advances in the manufacturing of the theater seating as well as the increase in demand enables Interior Express to offer this motion furniture for the lowest pricing on the market without losing sight of unparalleled quality in the process.

Founded in 2002 by Haowei Shen and Chuck Tanner, Interior Express has grown to include over 350 products.  Current inventory is comprised of a vast array of furniture: leather sofas, club chairs, and ottomans; cloth and microfiber sofas and sectionals; dining sets; beds and bedroom sets and more.  The latest additions to their steadily expanding product line are their various styles of home theater seating

Designed to stand the test of time, their new home theater seating is manufactured with parts standard to the creation of the majority of all home theater seats such as the full authentic Leggett & Platt reclining mechanism systems.  Also hidden internally is hardwood construction, enabling consumers to be confident they are receiving a product with a long lifespan of enjoyment and comfort ahead.

Interior Express manages to put forth their line of home theater seating outfitted in top grain genuine leather.  One of, if not the most popular upholstery choices with consumers is a leather theater seat opposed to a cloth, microfiber, or other surface material.  Leather makes for a piece of furniture that is easier to clean and maintain – something of optimum importance for home theater seating, considering the popcorn and snacks movie viewers are undoubtedly going to enjoy while using the seats.

Interior Express maintains competitive pricing by pairing the top grain leather with leather match material only on more concealed parts of the home theater seats, including the back and side portions.  This is no flimsy, thin faux leather – Interior Express was successful in their search to discover the best quality material that is being created.  Even the highest level of scrutiny will result in trouble discerning between the two materials on the finished home theater seating product – the top grain leather looks nearly the same as the leather match.

Interior Express expects the main selling points of their home theater seating to be the genuine leather, competitive quality, and the affordability.  With high and regularly rising ticket prices in public theaters, consumers in growing numbers are considering investing in home theater seating, which has the potential to be a great cost-effective option in the long run.  Interior Express promptly ships cross-country to any location within the 48 contiguous states.  To view their pricing and product lines, including the new home theater seating options, visit www.interiorexpress.com.
